Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 1970s. Lennox survived off an allowance for students as well as working part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox believed that her abilities aren't the same as the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other paths she could take. Lennox was initially a flute-player within the band Dragons Playground. She left the band prior to their appearance as a guest on I.T.V's talents show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980, she was the main vocalist of The Tourists, a British Pop band. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. Commercially and critically, it was an enormous success. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in the month of October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox made available in May 2019. This E.P. First album of hers"Now I Letting You Go... It is an accompaniment to her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some popularity in the latter part of 1970s. In the following years, Lennox joined her fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, by releasing an album titled Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and Why. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. The album features covers of songs like No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo studio albums as well as her compilation album contain a variety of tracks.
