Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American professional player with the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association. She played for Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college before she was drafted with the number 5 overall by the Wings at the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. She has two brothers Mario (26 and 26 years older) as well as Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). She was the youngest in her family and her parents spoilt her to the max. Gregory's dad was in the Nigerian Army. Ogunbowale's family has an active familial background. Ogunbowale took gold at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship, 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship, and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. Ogunbowale was selected as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale was also included on the ACC All-Freshman Team following her first year of collegiate basketball.
